With over 50 years of experience in the HVAC industry, Scott Droegkamp brings unmatched knowledge, dedication, and heart to everything he does. As co-owner of the company alongside his wife Lisa, Scott’s favorite part of the job is simple—it’s all about the people. He thrives on interacting with employees and customers, and he finds purpose in every connection and conversation.

Scott enjoys the challenges that come with designing systems and troubleshooting complex issues. Working with his hands and solving problems is something he’s always loved. What drives him most is being part of a successful company that makes a real difference in the lives of the people God puts in his path.

Outside of work, Scott is a fan of almost all sports, treasures time with his family, and never says no to good food and meaningful conversation.

A fun fact about Scott? He dreams of learning to play the piano and one day writing a book titled *"Rounding 3rd and Heading for Home."* We can’t wait to read it!

Jessica wears many hats and is an important and valued member of the Dave Droegkamp Team. What she enjoys most about her job is the amazing people she works with every day.

Jessica’s favorite things? Laughing, smiling, and having fun — and she makes it a point to incorporate all three into every part of her day, both at work and at home. Known for her vibrant personality, Jessica is also a little ridiculously superstitious — she firmly believes you can win the lottery using the numbers from a fortune cookie!

When she’s not at work, Jessica loves watching scary movies, enjoying a good thunderstorm, and hitting the trails for a hike.

On her bucket list? Earning a Ph.D. and writing a book — two dreams she’s determined to achieve.

With over 40 years in the HVAC industry, Dave Bennett brings a wealth of knowledge and a genuine passion for helping homeowners find the perfect comfort solutions for their homes. He’s known for taking the time to educate customers, explain their options clearly, and walk them through the features and benefits of each system.

Outside of work, Dave enjoys quality time with his family. He recently married his amazing wife Julie, a dedicated special needs teacher. Together, they love spending time with their children, enjoying the simple moments that mean the most. When he's not with family or helping customers, you can find Dave on the golf course or cheering on his favorite teams – the Green Bay Packers and the Milwaukee Bucks.

Carey is one of our Customer Care Representatives and is an integral part of the Dave Droegkamp Heating, Cooling & Air Quality family. She enjoys expanding her knowledge of the HVAC industry and helping customers with their comfort needs.

Outside of work, Carey is passionate about running—whether it’s a 5K or a full marathon, like the one she proudly completed last October. She especially loves hitting the pavement with her dogs by her side. Her energy, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn make her a valued part of our team!

Nate brings stellar energy to our customer service team every day. He loves making customers happy and takes pride in hearing their satisfaction over the phone. Customer service isn’t just a task for Nate—it’s his top priority, and he truly cares about each and every customer.

Before joining us, Nate served our country with honor, spending 5 years on active duty in the U.S. Air Force. Thank you for your service, Nate!

Fun fact: Nate once dreamed of being an astronaut. While he didn’t end up in space, his customer service is definitely out of this world. He also has a knack for trivia and an impressive memory for random facts—perfect for any quiz night or maybe even *Jeopardy* one day!

Jim has been a valued member of the Dave Droegkamp Heating, Cooling & Air Quality team for 9 years. He brings dedication, craftsmanship, and a problem-solving mindset to every project.

Jim enjoys two things most about his career: working on unique, custom homes and tackling the challenges of designing and installing the best system possible for each home. He also enjoys the people he works with and the camaraderie among the team.

He takes great pride in getting everything just right—making sure each system works exactly how it should and meets the customer's needs with precision and care.

Though Jim won’t brag about himself, we all know he’s a true “MacGyver.” Whether it’s on the job or at home, Jim has a “never quit” attitude and can fix, build, or figure out just about anything. His can-do spirit is a huge asset to the team.

Outside of work, Jim is most at home in the great outdoors. He enjoys anything that gets him outside—from yard projects to outdoor adventures.

Tami has been with Dave Droegkamp Heating, Cooling & Air Quality for 2 years. She loves assisting customers with any concerns they may have and enjoys working alongside her co-workers, knowing she’s part of a supportive and caring team. Tami appreciates the family atmosphere at Dave Droegkamp, where she truly feels at home.

Tom Kerzman has been with Dave Droegkamp Heating, Cooling & Air Quality for an incredible 30 years! What stands out most to Tom is the camaraderie among the team — “It’s fantastic,” he says. “Working here is like being part of one big family. At some companies, you’re just another number, but not here.”

Outside of work, Tom’s life is full of joy and excitement — especially in the past few years. In just three years, he went from having no grandchildren to seven! Talk about a proud and busy grandpa.

Ben is a true problem solver. He enjoys tackling challenges head-on and making sure customers are comfortable and satisfied. He takes pride in helping people and finding efficient solutions to keep systems running smoothly. We're lucky to have Ben on our team!

With 9 years of experience in the HVAC industry, Todd brings knowledge and friendly service to every home he visits. His favorite part of the job? Meeting new people and building connections with customers. Outside of work, Todd enjoys spending time outdoors—whether it’s hiking, fishing, or simply soaking up nature.

Meet Service Tech Zach Britten – with 10 years at Dave Droegkamp Heating & Cooling, Zach is all about helping people and making them feel comfortable in their homes. He enjoys meeting new people and building lasting relationships with customers. When he’s not out in the field, you’ll likely find him on the golf course. Zach’s the name – comfort’s the game!

Sara and George aren’t your typical team members at Dave Droegkamp Heating, Cooling & Air Quality — they’re a pair of beloved Sandhill cranes who have made our offices and workshop their second home! Part of the local Hartland community, these graceful birds spend their days strolling the grounds, enjoying endless helpings of birdseed, and entertaining us with their calm presence. They’re not alone either — our feeders attract a variety of beautiful birds throughout the day. It’s a peaceful, joyful sight that brings nature right to our doorstep!

Bubba greets everyone with a wagging tail and a whole lot of heart. At nine years old, he takes his role at Dave Droegkamp Heating, Cooling & Air Quality very seriously. His responsibilities include supervising cozy afternoons, spreading smiles, and reminding everyone that comfort is about more than just temperature — it’s about feeling at home.
You’ll be seeing more of Bubba around as part of the Droegkamp family, adding a little extra joy wherever he goes. Because at the end of the day, comfort starts with care… and sometimes with four paws.
